Doing research about the largest Halloween event in the state of Oklahoma was easy. For the last 12 years, I’ve donned my own costume and volunteered at Haunt the Zoo. I’ve handed out candy, re-supplied stock, and taken tickets.

Want to know how the zoo has managed to pull off such a huge event for 27 years? How 900 volunteers hand out 300,000 pieces of candy with barely a hiccup? And how “green” is the new orange for coordinators of this Halloween event?
